Job Description:
• System Testing/Product Testing of Display Systems
• Manual and Automated testing(Black Box testing)
• Design test cases from System Requirements/User Requirements
• Test Execution (Manual/Automated)
• Reporting & Tracking of Defects
• Report test summary and status to management
Technical Skills:
Must:
• Good in Manual Testing (Black Box) of any Consumer Electronics products
• Knowledge of C programming
• Ability to design test plan and develop test specification from System Requirements
• Usage of any Test & Measuring instruments like Oscilloscope, Signal Generators etc
Desirable:
• Experience in Video/Display domain
• Experience in testing of Consumer electronics products like Television, STB
• Experience in Engineering design verification & validation
• Experience in Automation testing
• Knowledge of computer networking
• Experience in any scripting languages like TCL/PERL/ Python etc
• Ability to apply different test strategies/techniques like risk based testing, exploratory testing etc based on the project situation
• Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB or CSTE)
People Skills:
• Has a critical eye, attention to details and good error guessing
• Ability work independently and a good team player
• Good communication and questioning skills
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate factual information about defects, progress and risks in a constructive way
• Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to the changes in technology and project
